Registration

How to Register:

Step 1:
|
Print and fill-out the Red Deer Marlins Registration Form.
|
|
|
Step 2:
|
Print and fill-out the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP) form
(one form is required for each swimmer). |

Step 3:
|
Did your child attended a winter club or swim competitively in the ten
months prior to May 1st of this year?
|

|
Step 4:
|
Print a Fees and Bingo Form,
this form will be completed on registration day.
You may opt to "pay-out" or work bingos:
- Pay-out Bingos - one cheque required.
For example, if you are registering two swimmers you may pay out your bingos by writing one cheque for
3 bingos per swimmer x $75.00 x 2 swimmers = $450.00.
- Work Bingos - 3 cheques required, 3 bingos must be worked per swimmer.
If you prefer to work bingos you may sign-up on any of the dates shown on our
bingo schedule. In this case, you MUST bring three (3) post-dated cheques which
will be deposited if bingos are not worked. All families must complete 1/3 of their bingos by June 30, 2010,
2/3 by September 30, 2010 and 3/3 by December 31,2010. If that requirement has not been met then your
post-dated cheques will be deposited.

Bring all of the applicable forms (above) with you to Registration Day:

- Please remember to include your childs Alberta Health Care number on the forms that
require it. Also, if you have an e-mail address or your e-mail address has
changed since last year, please provide it. You will receive newsletters
and club information easier this way.
- All cheques must be included with the registration forms.
Registration and Withdrawal Policy:
No further registrations will be accepted after April 30th.
Club registration fees may be paid by post-dated-cheques. The total registration fee must be paid for each swimmer,
and will not be prorated for swimmers intending to swim for a portion of the season.
The club is required to pay a registration fee to the Alberta Summer Swimming Association. If you decide to withdraw
your swimmer from the club before May 30th and the president is informed in writing of your decision, your
registration fees will be refunded, less expenses incurred by the swimmer (A.S.S.A. registration etc.).
Refunds after May 30th will be for medical reasons only.
Swim Suits:
Our competition swimsuits will be black detailed with the Marlins logo. During registration,
our competition swim suits and clothing will be made available for fitting.
Orders for swim suits and other clothing (ie: sweat pants, hoodies, etc.) are
made on registration day
